Welcome!

Concerned Citizens is an informal discussion group which meets monthly in The Woodlands. These meetings are open to the public, and would be of interest to any who are concerned about the future we face here in America.

There is much to be concerned about:

Our group is composed primarily of progressives and libertarians, and is open to all who still believe in the principles our country was founded on. This is a "patriotism" very different than the flag waving jingoism demanded by so many in our government and media.

Our meetings address concerns not typically covered elsewhere. Our only objective is the presentation of an informative program on a monthly basis. Though many of our participants are activists individually, as a group there are usually no activities other than the monthly meetings. There is no "dues" and we have no "membership" or elected officers. There is no agenda other than the dissemination of information.

We provide a forum for people who have something to say, and frequently our programs consist of excellent documentaries. The room in the library where we hold our meetings easily seats 50, and includes two screens for projection of documentaries and slides. Admission is always FREE.

Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of most months (sometimes we skip December). The library is at 2101 Lake Robbins Dr., directly next door to the Woodlands Pavilion. Programs usually begin at 6:30. This website will always post the announcement for the upcoming meeting.

We also e-mail a monthly announcment of these meetings a few days in advance. If you would like to be on this list, click on "Mailing List", where you can submit your address or add friends.

Our focus is on content, and there is also much content on this website. Feel free to browse around and download the informative content, which is mostly .MP3 files.

...and thank you for stopping by!
